Hello @Hrankin5_3 ,
Welcome to our community.
Please verify if the Wi-Fi network is broadcasting:
1. Open the Tether app and go to Tools > Wireless Settings. Ensure the 2.4GHz/5GHz/6GHz networks are enabled and not hidden.
2. Check if the Wi-Fi indicator lights on the router are lit up (usually in green). There should be a Wi-Fi button on the back panel. Press and hold this button for approximately 2 seconds to activate the wireless function, if needed.
3. If you can only see the 2.4GHz network (TP-Link_XXXX) but not the 5GHz network (TP-Link_XXXX_5G), try disabling the "Smart Connect" feature from the Tether app or web interface.
4. Try checking with another wireless device (like a phone or tablet) to see if it can detect the router's Wi-Fi network.
Next, let's check the Internet connection:
1. Check the Internet LED on your router. If it's orange/red or off, there may be a problem with the connection between the modem and router.
2. Try rebooting both devices: Power off both the Adtran 424 modem and the router. Wait 30 seconds, then power on the router first. Once the router is fully powered on, power on the modem.
3. If possible, log in to the router's web management interface (http://tplinkwifi.net), navigate to Advanced > Network > Internet > Advanced Settings, and change the DNS servers to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8.
4. You may also need to clone your old router's MAC address. Go to Advanced > Network > Internet > MAC Clone in the web interface.
