Tapo C500 Camera leads.
Not only have I rather cleverly managed to cut through the lead to the camera whilst trimming foliage, but I actually managed to cut it exactly through the connector at the end of the lead which is hardwired to the camera.
My question is, are the connectors commercially available or are they specialized in some way. If they are commercially available would it be possible to solder a new one on. I am fairly capable with a soldering iron, but sometimes the core of the wire is stainless steel, which are difficult or impossible to solder.
Any help with this would be appreciated.

Hello,
To ensure the camera operates safely and reliably, we do not recommend attempting to repair or solder the power cable yourself, especially since the connector is hard‑wired to the camera. An improper repair may lead to unstable power supply, device malfunction, or potential safety risks.
In this situation, you may consider:
Purchasing a replacement power adapter and power cable that meet the camera’s required specifications, or
For the safest and most accurate guidance, contacting your local TP‑Link technical support team.
When contacting support, we strongly recommend providing clear photos of the cut cable and connector. This will help the support team better assess the situation and offer the most appropriate recommendation.

Thank you for your prompt reply. I am sure that this is the corporate reply but it dosnt actualy answer any of my questions, ie, is the connector commercially available or a specialised one, or how many wire cores there are in it.
I think that I meantioned that the the damaged connector is on the cable which is hardwired to the camera so the suggested soloution would not work.
Thanks anyway,
With regards.

Hello,
Thank you for the clarification.
Just to confirm, do you mean that the DC power connector that is permanently attached to the camera itself was cut, specifically at the connector end?
If that is the case, we’re afraid that we do not have the detailed technical information you’re asking for.
