C520WS enables tracking by itself
i always leave Tracking to "disabled" but once in a while it will put itself into "enable", i will put it back to disable (yes i save the config).
i have 3 cameras (all C520WS, same firmware) and two of them behave that way. All 3 are set to ONVIF as it records onto a NVR, which by the way the NVR has no tracking feature to enable this.
Tapo app version 3.18.506 (on Android)
C520WS v1.3.4 build 250811 rel 34127n

Hi,
Under normal circumstances, if Motion Tracking is disabled, the camera should not automatically follow any movement.
To help identify the cause, please check the following:
1. Verify Camera Settings
Make sure Motion Tracking is indeed set to “Disabled” Confirm the setting is saved successfully
2. Check Smart Actions / Automations
Go to the Smart Action page in the Tapo app. Check if there are any automation rules that might be enabling Motion Tracking under certain conditions (e.g., schedules, triggers)
3. Reinstall the App
If convenient, try reinstalling the Tapo app to rule out any app-side abnormal behavior.
If the issue still occurs, please collect the following information and contact support for deeper analysis:
1.Reproduce the issue, and provide a screenshot or video of the Motion Tracking settings page
2.Collect App logs: How to get the log of Tapo app
3.Provide a video showing the camera actively tracking motion when it should be disabled
Best Regards,

@Hilbert-TP thanks for this tip on automation, I didn't realize i had a missing state of Off at sunrise, reason why sometime it stayed on since it had detected pet tracking at night. Duh!!
