Model: Tapo RV50 Pro Omni
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.4, 260313, 180242

After the beta firmware update to fix the error "Mopping attachment removed. Please check.", I've consistently (daily) experienced "Wheel module error" and "Failed to install mopping attachment" + that the robot drops one of the mops during cleaning (the one on the extension arm), every single clean. From today it won't even leave the dock to mop, but I consistently get the message, "Failed to install the mopping attachment. Please manually install to the robot vacuum". I've tried to turn it off and back on and manually install the mops (which used to work) but with no success.

One morning it had also remapped one of the floors during the night cleaning so it was completely inaccurate. It did this although the map was locked. Fortunately I had a backup I could restore.

Is there another fix while waiting for the next stable firmware update?

Based on the current symptoms you’ve described, the earlier error messages you saw probably weren’t false alarms. It’s looking like there could be an underlying hardware issue here.
