Gracias

To check if the hub is ringing, open the Tapo app and look for the bell icon. When the hub is active, this icon will light up blue and start animating. You can tap it at any time to stop or start the ringing.
The above described how to actively check the app to see if the hub is ringing. If you want to automatically receive a notification when the hub rings (when the sensor opens), you’ll need to set up an automation rule: add an extra action -- “Send Me Notification” to your existing alarm automation. For example: When Tapo T110 is open, Then: 1. Ring Tapo hub, 2. Send me a notification.
It’s important to note that automations only run when triggered, by a specific time or a device state change, and each trigger runs once. The automation will not run again unless a new trigger condition is met (e.g., the next scheduled time arrives or the device changes state again).
If you want the hub to remind you periodically while the door remains open (for example, every hour), you can create a new automation rule:
- Trigger (When): Set multiple time points, e.g., 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM.
- Condition (If): If Tapo T110 is open
- Action (Then): 1. Ring Tapo hub, 2.Send me a notification.
This way, the system will check the door’s status at each scheduled time. If the door is still open, the set actions will be executed -- ring the hub and send you a notification.
