Hello TP-Link Support,

Could you please clarify when the official firmware 1.3.1 will be released for Archer BE550(EU) V2?

At the moment, I can see that the US V2.6 version already has an official firmware:

Archer BE550(US)_V2.6_1.3.1 Build 20260403

However, for Archer BE550(EU) V2, the latest official firmware available on the regional TP-Link download pages still appears to be:

Archer BE550(EU)_V2_1.2.5 Build 20251028

There was also a pre-release firmware:

Archer BE550_V2_1.3.1 Build 20260303

But it was marked as pre-release/beta and not as an official stable EU release.

Could you please confirm:

  1. Is the official 1.3.1 firmware planned for Archer BE550(EU) V2?
  2. Is there an estimated release date for the EU version?
  3. Will the EU release be based on Build 20260403 or a newer build?
  4. Is it safe to install the US firmware on an EU device, or should EU users wait for the regional release?

Both the US and EU versions of Archer BE550 V2 share the same firmware compatibility, so you can install the firmware on the EU hardware.

 

I've provided a direct download link in this thread. Or you can download it directly from the US site here.

Hello  @Shifr ,

We have not yet received any notifications regarding the EU firmware version. It is recommended to enable the "Auto Update" feature on your router to ensure you receive updates as soon as they become available. You can also check the official website for firmware updates.
