TC 40 Firmware 1.3.7 WiFi
I've always wondered why they release firmware that degrades the performance. The WiFi module worked fine on the previous firmware. However, there are constant issues, even though the router shows that it's registered and the signal strength is good. In contrast, the C510W has a weaker signal, but it still works perfectly. The updates have caused problems with the sound, and now they're affecting the WiFi module.

This firmware version has been fully released for a while now, and so far I haven’t seen any similar reports—yours is actually the first. So I don’t think the issue is necessarily with the firmware itself. It might be an irregularity that only shows up under your specific environment.
For the disconnection issue, you can try the troubleshooting steps in this article. What if Tapo smart devices keep losing connection or going offline? If you’ve already tried them or they didn’t help, please reach out to our local support for further assistance. Contact Technical Support
As for downgrading the firmware, unfortunately that’s not supported.

Is it possible to return the old firmware using the MAC address?? How can I restore a stable network connection?? I have specifically swapped the cameras, but there are obvious problems with the new firmware.
