Model : NC220

Hardware Version : 1.0

Firmware Version : 1.1.14 Build 161219 Rel.28647

Hello,

I own the following NC220:

Model: NC220 1.0
Firmware Version: 1.1.14 Build 161219 Rel.28647

I am running Windows 8.1. I have the latest IE web plugin installed.

When I access Live View from the camera's webpage using IE 11, the plugin loads but I get a black image with the message "Authentication Error" shown in red color letters in the middle. (see screenshot below).

I am pretty sure the IE plugin used to work.

Any idea why and how to fix it?

.....................................The plug ins that enabled viewing in a browser have been stopped by Firefox etc due to security concerns . Tplink are still unable to fix that issue so you need to use other cameras or log in via a web page to the camera using the password encripted in Base64. That works & using VLC player with the rtsp stream also works port 554 . i got a picture using Ispy & with the app.

Thank you for your answer. I managed to make it work with VCL using the following streaming URL:

rtsp://admin:admin@[device-ip]:554/h264_vga.sdp
