This should be standard option for notification in the Tapo app for all cameras. Reolink app has this feature with short clip attached to email and it saves me time to just check when internet is unstable. I would suggest notification via email with either have 3 pictures to cover the triggering event, or with a short clip on the event.

  @alessioz One can use IFTTT to integrate a Tapo camera with sending an email or telegram message or whatever. The problem is that the applet only gives two fields that can be used in the notification and that is the camera or device name and the time stamp. It does not have a field for a photo snapshot or video snippet that one can include in the email or telegram message. By adding the photo or video option to the IFTTT applet for Tapo, it would not only solve this thread but give even more flexibility than just email.
