Hi, I've managed to connect my tapo c200 camera with VLC using this setting 

 

For a 1080P (1920*1080) stream1: rtsp://username:password@IP Address:554/stream1

 

from this article https://www.tp-link.com/my/support/faq/2680/.

 

The question is will it play both video and sound through vlc or it's just me not hearing any sound. If any tips availble very appreciate it.

Hi all. Today I wanted to use VLC to view the camera via RTSP and I had the same problem.
In my case, the solution was to enter through the Android application and there increase the volume of the microphone (I had it at zero).
Apparently it is not a configuration that affects the app but the camera itself.
