Please add an microphone disable function for the primary user so that shared users can not invade their privacy. Surely this simple function is easy to add and a MUST!

  @gmosetto I also need this feature. It's been years since this request was logged and still no solution from tapo/tp-link. @tp-link you are leaving money on the table! Let me explain the use case and then why I can't buy more TP-Link cameras:

My mother is alone in her house during the day. We need to have 4 or 5 cameras around high traffic areas to make sure she is OK at all times. I would have to share the video feed with my siblings if we do this setup. Some of them are difficult people and can't be trusted with the use of the cameras. The problem is that we can't set them up and exclude some siblings, this is a no go. 

If the tapo app could simply allow the admin to turn off the mic and speaker so guests can't turn them back on, this would be the perfect solution. I know the app can't handle it because I bought two cameras to do a test, and the cameras are good and the system works relatively fine.

Currently a more expensive and well known wifi camera brand does offer this feature and I will have to reluctantly purchase those instead. TP-Link, imagine all the business you are losing by not offering this simple setting on your app. The other brand (owned by another router brand) offers two tiers for granting access to other people: admin rights and no admin rights.

Finally, Tapo/TP-Link  please make sure to post here when you make this feature available because there's a lot of people looking for this solution and would gladly reconsider. Thanks.

New customer here.
Camera is good but it's really a shame that when you share the video, people could LISTEN TO YOU !!!
Please make an option to mange rights (moving the cam, listen to the mic, etc...) of the people you shared your camera with.

  @gmosetto this is exactly the problem I have. It's a great camera but frustrating as admin to have no 'master switch' for camera mic off. Until we get a software enhancement I suggest blocking the microphone hole in the interim!
