Motion detection and Alarm
How do you set it to only set off the alarm when a person is detected? I do not want the alarm going off at 2:30am when a moth flys in front of the camera.

Hi,
Currently, if motion detection and person detection are enabled on the Tapo C210, the camera will alarm when it detects motion or person when the Alarm feature is enabled.
You can turn on the person detection only at night so the camera won't alarm at night when detecting flys.

@Solla-topee Thank you for the reply and the information. Do you know when a firmware update will be released so that it can be set to still track motion and only set off the alarm when a person is detected?

Hi,
We don't have the information about when the Tapo C210 will support the feature(Alarm Event Type selection) you want. It's recommended to pay attention to the firmware release notes of the camera on the official website to see if the new firmware improves the Alarm feature.
