Can a map be edited to add or delete rooms?

The device maps the whole house more-or-less accurately, however, there are some errors in which it creates sections that are not there.
Splitting/merging rooms works ok but there seems to be no way to highlight and remove sections that don't exist.
Additionally, there doesn't seem to be a way to add a room that was not included in the original mapping (e.g., the door was closed for a reason at the time).
Is there a option to fine-tune the map to be more accurate, or is the only way to map the whole house again and hope there are fewer errors?
