Tapo rv30 Max Plus base mooves on it’s own.
I just bought the RV30 max plus and it works great but as soon as I launch the vaccuum, after I created the rooms, the charging base teleports itself in an inaccessible area.
This results in my robot not being able to get back to the dock to charge nor can he unloads the dirt it collected.
This is very inconvenient.
Thanks for your help.

Generally, if only the dock's position on the map is changing, it is likely because the robot vacuum did not start its cleaning task from the charging dock. In this case, the robot needs to scan all areas one by one to locate the dock.
If the entire map shifts after the robot has completed a cleaning task, this is less common but still normal. During cleaning, the robot continuously scans its surroundings and adjusts its position, updating both the cleaning progress and the map layout. As a result, the map may occasionally shift or rotate under specific circumstances. If you encounter this issue, consider the following suggestions:
1. For RV30 Series: Use the map Backup & Restore feature to revert to the correct map version if anomalies occur.
2. For Other Series (including Max series): Lock the map to prevent automatic updates during cleaning.

@Domotique69 As you can see in the top left part, the dock teleported itself in an room that does not exist and even tho I manually put back the vaccuum on it it's still in that room.
If this can't be fixed that means the robot will never be able to dock back itself to charge and unload trash making it useless.

The doc moved back to the right place after another cleaning session, still a fix is needed.

Are there any abnormalities in other parts of the map, or is it just the position of the dock that has changed?

@Wayne-TP Well the map itself is weirdly generated with many voids being scanned but that's not thr worst part.
Now the docking station disapeared from the map and when the robot is finished working he explore the whole place looking for it.
He ends up eventually at the right place but after many minutes looking for the docking station bumping into walls...

Did the robot vacuum clean on a different floor? Did it start cleaning from the charging dock?

@Wayne-TP There is only one floor and yes the robot starts cleaning at the dock.
He end up finding the dock but he spends a few minutes exploring the appartment to find it.
Also, if he's on cleaning mode with the wet mop, and I programmed the rugs so he can avoid them, at the end of the cycle he'll go everywhere with the wet mop even on rugs...
Which defeats the purpose of programming rugs...
