The Samsung 256GB EVO Plus (U3, V30, A2, SDXC1) card is confirmed to be incompatible with all Tapo and Kasa cameras

This is a quote from tp-link.com/us/support/faq/3048/

Does anyone own this card and have experience with it? Could someone explain exactly why? What this incompatibility is and what the symptoms are? I happen to own this card, and the issues I’ve reported with the camera have nothing to do with it. Please share your experiences.

I believe this sd card is not designed for write-intensive devices like security cameras. You can actually find disclaimers in their warranty policy: "Warranty does not extend to dashcam, CCTV, surveillance camera, and other write‑intensive uses."

Hi

In my opinion, that would be strange, to say the least. Incompatibility is one thing, but the durability of the storage medium is another. I understand that after a year, such a card might need to be replaced. But does that mean it’s incompatible? I have my doubts. I still don’t know what’s going on.
