If motion tracking is not working properly, follow the steps below based on your situation.
1. Ensure Motion Tracking/Auto Tracking is enabled. If tracking is set for specific activities, other movements won't trigger it.
2. Position the camera at least 15° above the vertical direction for optimal tracking.
3. Mount to the side. Side-mounted cameras detect crossing movement more effectively.
4. Avoid installing behind glass to prevent infrared reflection and blurry images, especially in nighttime scenes.

6. Update firmware on Tapo APP > Me > Firmware Upgrade page for potential performance improvements.
