450 cloud camera: no push to cloud?

Hi
Received my new 450 cloud camera today. Seemed to work nice locally, but when trying to watch video from outside I got a supprise: the camera seems to present its private address, which means I can not connect to it from a public address. I truly expected the camera to connect to the cloud to enable watching from the outside? This was the reason for me to aquire a cloud based camera.
Have I misunderstood this, or does the camera need a public IP-address to work from outside my home?
Thanks in advance!
Trond
