Welp, in my case I'm guessing I'll go buy Tuya instead. It uses Zigbee, so it's guaranteed to not phone home, I guess. If they ever fix this...nonsense I might reconsider, but I needed it now, and...

I was going to buy 3 or 4 of these, but I guess I'm having to hold off, until power measuring is available offline. I'll see if I can get Ikea instead for testing.
