@Anton L.Z. I've actually tried measuring my tiny solar panel, connected via grid tie inverter and it worked. Small wattage, but it was pretty consistent with what my multimeter display showed.

Yes, you can update the IP manually on No-ip.com. But if the modem restarts, you get new IP and it autoupdates the dynamic dns to wrong IP. I'm on the latest firmware.
