Hello,

I just bought this router and cannot get my printer Brother HL 2170W working.
TP-Link Give me the message "the port of auto connect cannot be a LPR / raw TCP / SMB port.
The printer is on LPT1.
What the heck is going on?
I am very frustrated right now with that router.

Any help to calm me down?

Thanks

USB printer, right? compatibility issue? you can check the compatibility list on tplink website: http://static.tp-link.com/resources/compatible/Print-Server/Print_Server_Compatibility_List_160804.pdf

No compatibility issues. I did a fresh OS installation and now it cannot connect to the router anymore.
It worked before without any problems.

so the printer is connected to the router by cable or usb or wifi ? I think you can directly connect the printer to the computer to test
