I have the Archer C8 a couple of weeks old and the LED CONTROL light has disappeared...
The manual quite clearly says it has one so I am not imagining things.. Firmware... build 62336. I have tried setting back to factory..still no button..

After upgrading to 2016.06.06 rel 62336, I noticed that the LCD control button had disappeared..The router works great in all other respects..... see attached

Did you have the feature on the router before you updated the firmware?

Not sure..may have been the extender...but the downloadable PDF manual for the C8 clearly shows it... >>>
