Hello,

My ISP Provides a Cable Modem/Wireless unit as my main Wi-Fi network. I would like to add a repeater to boost the signal. The TP-Link Archer-C7 is highly recommended as a router. Can I configure it as a repeater? Is this over kill? The ISP provided router will manage DHCP but I need to ensure I can use the Archer as a passthrough device. Has anyone else done this?

Thanks!

My Archer C7_V5 have router and Acess Point mode, it seems that it do not have repeater or WDS mode.

If it has this access point function, it worked almost like repeater . It can extend the wifi range.
