Archer C7 Router no internet connection on 2.4G

Just purchased this router and installing now. The router is up but the 2.4G wireless is not connecting to the Internet. The 5G is working fine. This unit is an Archer C7 v4.0 with Firmware 1.0.4 Build 20170901 rel.56148(5553). Is this router defective or is there some steps to correct issue?
