Hi everyone,

I purchased 3 pk. Deco M5 in November. Transitioned to Youtube TV in early December. Was working flawlessly, streaming Youtube TV on three tv's at once at over 150mbps until 1/12/2018 when the stream began getting pixilated and stream would stop all together once every two minutes for about 20 seconds at a time. Brought up "Stats for nerds" overlay on Youtube TV and noticed a drop from 150mbps to less than 2mbps during those drop periods. Have disconnected Deco and streamed directly to xbox by ethernet from modem and stream works fine. Have reset and moved pods and reinstalled app, disconnected all pods but the gateway, placed QOS setting to "streaming", prioritized the streaming devices. None of these have worked. (same issue with streaming)

Downloaded the app WIFI analyzer last night. Set the scan interval to the shortest setting and found that the channels on 2.4g and 5g that the deco was on were the lowest rated. When the app showed a drop off on those channels, that is when the drop off of bandwidth was observed on the Youtube TV Stats for Nerds. It appears that the Deco is not locating and assigning the device to the best channels as it should.

Any suggestions?

Same problem--seems like it would be an easy fix to allow users to change the channels on the app. Why haven't you received a reply?

@waj Since last November we started to make a concentrated effort to assisting as best we could regarding their products.

 

Are you experiencing the issue that was mention back in January? If so, are your Decos running the 1.2.4 firmware?
