I don't see any notice on the TPlink website if any products are affected by the VPNfilter malware and if there is a patch to remediate? https://www.symantec.com/blogs/threat-intelligence/vpnfilter-iot-malware

I have the same question. Our company has installed over 500 TPlink routers and our customers need this answer.

Same question for me. I have multiple TP-Link routers and we as clients need to have some official information from TP-Link.

Even if they do have a fix, all attempts to upgrade the firmware for the Archer C5 fail. :(P.S. in the Talos Intelligence notification, Tp-Link is called out as susceptible. https://blog.talosintelligence.com/2018/05/VPNFilter.html [CODE]I give. More than a week after this vulnerability has been announced TPlink still hasn't listed affected models and what version of software to remediate the risk?

The official word page says I need to update, but my current firmware says that the new firmware is out of date. >:-(

I am sorry. I guess I was not clear enough. I can *NOT* update, not because I cannot find the current firmware. The problem is that the *PRESENTLY INSTALLED FIRMWARE* believes the new stuff is out of date. It is complaining that the newer stuff looks to be too old to update. Their tech support guys said, "try resetting your router". That cost me four hours of messing around to get the thing back to where it was functional and _still_ said the newer firmware was out of date. There is no "just do what I tell you to do" mechanism that I can find.

I consulted tp-link support about this issue.
And they said they haven't received any new vulnerability feedback and as for the existing old ones.
If above is truth, tp-link should pay high attention to this and wouldn't provide that reply.
