HS110 v1: reset energy monitor in kasa app
I am looking to reset the runtime and energy used within the Kasa app for Andriod, without completely deleting the device out of the app and reconfiguring it from scratch.
I am also not looking to do a factory reset on the smart plug itself.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@Tony
I'm sorry, but it is a pretty poor product that forces owners to waste time and effort do achieve a task that should be, by any normal measure, a simple button click.
My Kassa obviously has malfunctioned in its energy recording and now shows over 25MW !!! use in the last 24hrs. And you say I can't apply a simple reset !!!
If you can't make your software bullet proof, at lease allow us (the users) a reasonably painless way to recover from this failure.
Have the designers never used DFMEA in their design process, it would appear not. This is an industry wide methodology that strives to create a quality product and provides an ongoing improvement process.
I suggest that your product designers start using this tool, it will give you a better product and fewer dissatisfied customoers.

REALLY tp-link???
How can you expect to be taken seriously when you haven't acted on this reported and much needed simple feature?
In fact what kind of developers do you have that wouldn't even put this in at the outset of deciding to give users the facility to view the units stats? or even just slip it in when they realised what an enormous gaff they made and how ridiculous they must feel for being pulled up on it over and over again...
If there were App police who could go round forcing companies to do the right thing...
The best companies are the ones that actively respond in a timely fashion to their client's needs the worst type are... well need I say more???

OnAndOff
Please address this issue by fixing in a firmware update or providing a solution other than reset to factory defaults.
Thanks

@Your_Name_Here can you make my answer on page 2 of this thread as accept answered?
The solution of using the iOS app Watt for Smart Devices will temporarily solve the problem of almost 50% of the Tp-link community

Do you have iPhone? If you have you can download the app Watt for Smart Devices and there you will find the reset button

Tut-tut TP-Link, you're better than this - sort it out - couldn't take more than a couple of hours dev time.

@Farmerbil66
After you create the "Space" and add your devices to the same Space you can click the device "circle" and you will see one screen like this:
Just click on the button on the top left corner and you will see the option to "reset"

Great to see that there's a potential solution out there to this VERY simple issue (TP-Link take note and possibly buy this company... hint hint)
Any chance you could make your app available for Android (by far the largest group of users worldwide) and possibly older iPads and iPhones?
Not everyone has a brand new iPhone/iPad runniing iOS 11.3 or newer
Backwards compatibility is SO important if we are gonna stand any chance of saving the planet from perfectly usable devices going into landfill for the want of an app developer that cares...
