Model: Archer C9
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.2.4

What to choose?

You can't use the 2 features at the same time and both are considered highly recommended.

So what to do?

@bradmoss

For a home setting, go with NAT Boost. This is to make sure you are getting the best speed possible. If you would rather have DoS, test both of them speed wise to see if there is any difference.

DoS would be useful if you are hosting something like a website or any server, and want to avoid the service from dropping due to other computers pinging it. For a tyipcal home setup, this is usually not needed which is why NAT Boost would be best.
