I am getting a brand new router on Wed. to replace my old router. Is it ok to set the deco up tomorrow even though I will be replacing the current router or should I wait till I have the replacement in place befor setting up the deco? thanks for any help you guys can offer.
I would set up the Deco as if it was my main router and use it normally. When you get your actual router swap the locations (new router to modem, Deco to new router), and either leave the Deco in router mode or switch it to AP mode. In AP mode most features will not be available fyi.
