TL-WPA8630 KIT and AV500

I have a powerline av500 installed in my house. I’m planning to buy a wpA8630kit but I want to continue using the old av500.

My questions:

1. The old av500 will work with the new kit?

2. If so, the performance of all the network will drop to the av500 or just the area that is cover by the av500 will drop and the other Area will have the wpa8630 performance ?

Hi Rick,

Yes and Yes. Yes the adapters will work fine with each other and yes the speed will drop to that of the lowest adapter in the network in this case the AV500.
