Possibly but not because the RE450 is an inferior product, becasue its not.  Specs wise its actually a higher rated product and in fact its one of our best selling Range Extenders.  The reason you might is becasue your product likely doesn't have a Warranty.  The only authorized sellers on eBay are NewEgg and the TP-Link Official store.  Other than that it is 2nd hand goods and has no warranty.  Just wanted to give you that bit of infromation in cases you didn't know.
