As a Range Extender yes the RE300 will be compatible with the Archer C7 V2. But not for OneMesh. For OneMesh, current plans are to make only the latest version of the C7 the V5 compatible.

If your router had a manufacture defect and was still under warranty yes. If there is nothing wrong with the device or if Support determines the issue is not a manfacture's defect then no, not without buying a new one from one of our Retail Partners.

I have a very similar question, but with an Archer A7 V5 and an RE220 V1.0.
Will they work together in OneMesh?
Right now the RE220 indicates "The host router does not support OneMesh."
