Hi there! I have a couple of Eufy smart bulbs that are only 2.4 ghz compatible. If I turn on Smart Connect, will the router attempt to connect the bulbs to one of the the 5 ghz bands at all?

@nofreeshows

The bulbs themselves do not have the 5GHz antenna so they would not be able to be redirected if the router wanted to. However, I have seen issues of smart devices having trouble with a single network that is comprised with two bands such as mesh networks.

There should not be any issues, but if the bulbs are haivng any connections issues, disable smart connect to see if that is the cause.
