Hi team

 

 

 

I just bought a Deco M4r  3 pack system and after the set up i recieved a notification for an update. I followed the instructions and waited for the three minutes that the system asked for, but during that period one of my slave deco was disconnected from power by an accident and now ths one does not complete start, i mean, it stays with the continuous  yellow light and nothing more.

 

I ask if there is a way to flash the firmware againg and be able to use my deco slave?

Turn on the Deco unit, leave it on for a couple of minutes, then hold the reset for 1 second, that should initiate a reset. If the LED light does not change, leave it alone for a couple more minutes, and try the same process in holding the rest for one second.

 

If you get no change in the LED light it may be bricked, contact our home support at that point: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/contact-technical-support/#Hotline-Support

Thanks so Much but that didnt Work, i found a video of another product that worked for me:

I just connected the Deco to my pc and turned off wifi, then typed this address on any browser: 192.168.0.1

After that i was able to flash the firmware again and it worked!
