Ax11000 dropping 2.4ghz every other day
Every other day 2.4 wireless drops until the router is restarted. Everything connects back fine after reboot. 5ghz has no issues. Using latest firmware. Any ideas?
Using smart connect I cannot specify a channel. I really dont want to turn that off and have 3 ssid's.

Go into your 2.4Ghz wireless settings, and change the compatibly to b/g/n/ac, so choose the one that does not have ax. Monitor the connection after see if that helps.

@Tony I've done that as a test to see how it goes. However the only way to do this is to disable smart connect and I really want to use that feature. Same with selecting specific channels...
I'll report back with an update.

Turning off AX didnt work, stayed connected for a couple of hours. Now I'm specifing channel 1. See how long this lasts.

@Jerryb I had the same issue. I packed it up and returned it to Amazon for a replacement. Don't waste your time trying to trobleshoot. If its past warranty buy another one and put the old one in a box and return it. Customer service is nonexistant with all of these companies.

I'm having the exact same problem. Started out dropping 2.4 signal occassionally, now it's all the time. Using an app on my phone I can't even see the 2.4 signal unless I reboot the router. I've tried manually setting the channel, enable/disable smart connect and excluding the ax band as mentioned above. The router seems to completely drop the 2.4 signal and all 2.4 devices stop connecting. I've tried simply disabling the 2.4 wireless optoin and re-enabling, but it requires a complete reboot.

I still dont have a fix other than rebooting daily or more.

Chatted with tech support. Only suggestion they had was to rename 2.4 signal and change to 20 only bandwidth. I have 30 devices on my 2.4 wifi and would have to reset everyone if I renamed. Will try 20 bandwidth.
