Extending WIFI out to the barn.

I am trying to expand my WIFI from the house out to the barn.  Currently with only the router connected  I do have Wifi all around the yard and sometimes up to the window of the barn other times the WifI stops 50 feet from the barn (do have electricity out there).  Do not need high speeds, gaming, printing, etc, just trying to get communication/ light research/social media out there.

Thinking may need something in the house window to boost the signal to inside the barn window and something in the barn repeating the signal.  So far all I have accomplished is deciding on TP Link duel channel bridging might be right.  Think maybe 2 of either the TP Link RE200 or the TP Link Artcher C7?  Also does the online instructions for bridging work for both those models?

Thank you for your help!

How far is the barn from where the router is located?

@weberjudy006  A wild guess would be 400 feet.

@weberjudy006  The barn has metal siding and roofing.  It has 2 windows and sliding door facing the back of the house.

@weberjudy006

So what you would want to do is go with a EAP225-outdoor.  You should need two of these to cover that distance.  They can be 'meshed" together for ease of use.

@weberjudy006   Thank you.  Will check this one out.  Have already saw downloads for the software.  Will need to determine exactly where to place them and how.

Thanks again!
