Also two factor authentication for all Kasa apps should be standard.
the router gets the name from the device itself, when you change it on a desktop or the tether app that is "nickname" essentially and only on that platform. To change the name univerisally you would want to change it on the device itself.
As for two-factor authenitcation it is being considered however there has been no decision at this time. We recomend using a complex and unique password.
