Model: Deco M4
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I currently have 30/30 service from Frontier FiOS.  A modem/router is provided by them.

Q1:  Will the Deco M4 replace my fios modem/router?

Q2:I understand the main units needs an Ethernet cable connecting it to my ISP provided modem/router.  But, True or False, I do NOT need an Ethernet cable connecting the other tow remote units back to the main unit.  I can't get cabling to where the remote units will be.

Thanks.

@Alohaalan

1. No, the modem/router from Frontier is able to pull the internet from the fiber optic connection, the M4 can't.

2. True, the satallite units need to be close enough to talk to the main unit using the Wi-Fi signal. The LED light on the unit will tell you if they are too far.
