Slow network performance on AX50/AX3000
Hello, I just purchased a AX50/AX3000 router and am having a terrible time gettingt the LAN speeds to be good. My other router was a Netgear and I was able to confirm that my WAN/Internet speeds are 500/250 from my ISP. I am getting close to that on wireless when I am right near the router. However, with the AX50 I am only getting 60mbps down and 40mbps up. I've tried everything including mimicking my settings from the Netgear router. Could this be an issue with my devices (iPhone and Macbook Pro) not supporting AX?

Can confirm it's this router
after months of struggling with my 1Gbps and intermittent speeds my ISP sent me a modem with 2 Lan ports
just plugged it in, went from 50 to 850
unbound my devices, removed the tether app and factory reset
still sucks

I have the same problem, wifi speeds below 350Mbps.
I tried all solutions but none worked, the worst part is that i don't know if it is a software or a hardware issue.

Update from my end:
I moved to a new home and trandferred my internet service, along with my AX50. Once my service was transferred, I was getting twice the wifi speeds (between 400-600 mbps), and my hardwired devices have generally been able to pull down my full gigabit service.
I guess my issues were not entirely due to the AX50.

Update from me
Reset everything again
no issues
even got 688 on 5Ghz on a floor above router

I can confirm, the problem is the "High priority" setting. After disabling it I went up from 40mbps to 250/300.

To anyone with the weird speed issue, I can confirm that deleting the tether app, resetting my AX3000 router and setting up the router again through the web interface works. Unbelievable that TP-Link isn't having this as a front and center issue listed on their product page when so many people have the problem!

It's not because of the Tether app. I'm using it even after having the problems. The problem is the QoS. What might happen is that when you use the Teather app you accidentally select an option from the QoS, that's all.

@Sevi I am having the same problem. AX50 speed is half that of a direct modem connection. The support desk as me jumping through hoops of connecting using CAT6 cables and recording the speed screenshots. None of the above methods work for me. Seems to be a hardware issue imo.
