@puluceno

Try disabling QoS, and also disabling access control in the security tab.

Also had problems with AX10 setup, it said the internet is not connected.

First I thought the WAN-port was broken, but then connected the thing to lan-port of my previous router, got the connection working and updated the firmware.

After that no problems, so seems its a software issue. Very poor though, NEVER had any problems like this before.

I have same router and same problems with WAN port.

My Internet connection is 1000 Mbps.

Router setting:
Auto-negotiation:          No connection
1000 Mbps:                   No connection
100 Mbps full duplex:    Connection, but very slow download speed (about 20 Mbps)
100 Mbps half duplex:   Connection, decent download speed (about 70-80 Mbps)

Tried different cables but with same result.
Computer attached to lan port on router get 1000 Mbps.
Computer attached to Internet connection works.
Old router (100 Mbps) attached to Internet connection works (about 95 Mbps download speed).

Tried to reset AX10 and have also upgraded firmware to latest version (and disabled some features on router). Still same problem.
Is the WAN port on router faulty or can it be related to my internet connection?
(Have an standard internet socket in my flat attached to local provider).

@Dan_Dv

What is your ISP provider?

For others, if the internet light is orange then it sees a connection, but there is no internet going to the router. That means you would do the following to get the connection working:

I live in an apartment building (in Sweden). All apartments have broadband from provider A3 (1000/1000 Mbit/s). All apartments have an RJ45 ethernet socket and that is what my router is connected to. Guess there is an central switch thats distribute internet to all apartments (so I am not connected by telephone network, fibre or cable/TV provider).
When router settings for WAN port is set to "Auto-negotiation" or "1000 Mbps", the internet light is off (no connection to internet).
When router settings for WAN port is set to "100 Mbps" or lower, internet light is green (temporary orange when router boots up).

Download speed (with cable attached to LAN port on router) is slow with 100 Mbit/s Full duplex (set manually).
Upload speed is ok with same settings (compared to old router). I get faster download speed with 100 Mbit/s Half duplex (but not as fast as old router).

"Auto-negotiation" works with AX10 connected to old router (but it has only 100 Mbit/s lan ports).
Computer connected to lan port on AX10 works without problem (1000 Mbit/s connection).

I do not know if the problem is related to WAN port on AX10 or if the AX10 has trouble connecting to the switch that is used in the building. Maybe there can be a problem with the ethernet socket in the apartment (but it works with old router and with computer connected directly to socket).

@NayOz I solved my problem. I don't know why but, I simply changed the cat 6 cable I had connected to my PC/ISP router that I used to connect PC/AX10 for another one and it worked, even though the cable wasn't damaged and worked in another PC just fine, sounds stupid but try another cable even though the one you have works fine

Alright, seems these things are "individuals". Had enough of connection problems with it. Couldn't connect to ISP (Elisa, Finland) with dynamic IP and straight "out-of-the-box" before firmware update (via old router), my laptop and other computer with Netgear A6100 usb wlan refused to work with 5Ghz before downgrading network drivers, Samsung WiFi printer no connection whatsoever, and same with smart tv.

The customer service guy at the store also said there has been quite a few of people returning these because of connection problems.

They have no questions asked 50 day return policy, and had these in sale for 49.95€, so got a new one, and so far no problems except the printer, but got it working with old wireless extender.

Smart Connect feature on router also needed turning off before I got the Netgear A6100 to connect. The difference between old working driver, and new "non working" one was 120Mbps in wireless speed now it works.

Been using same CAT6 cable the whole time.

Even Think its mainly a firmware issue, and/or massive problems with quality control standards. Hope Tp-link get it sorted.

For those experiencing issues with needing to change the negotiation speeds, try this firmware:

https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202007/20200731/Archer_AX10(EU)_V1_200730.zip

Even though the file name says (EU) it can also work for (US) and (JP) region routers.

@Tony The new firmware solved the issue for me. Thanks! 👍
