I have an archer c7 and a n600 router trying to set up N600 as a WIRED an access point I think I have it set up correctly and wired from lan port on c7 to lan port on n600 but the access point wifi is not good I think it might be grabbing the wireless signal from the c7 instead of wired. is there a way to check or turn off n600 wireless receiver?Also  cannot get response when trying to ping 8.8.8.8 from Access point

Here is a FAQ that shows what to do, the GUI is different but concept is the same: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/417/

 

The only way the router will pull internet from the main router Wi-Fi is if you enable WDS which you will not do.
