Hello Everyone,

I just wated to know for WPA2/AES Encryption method of authentication on the router does the router use 128bit, 192bit or 256bit encryption. I am not an network or securty encryption expert so dont even much have info on the method. Also the manual does not mention anything about it. I did find the bits mentioned for the WEP security but nothing for WPA. Any information on this would be helpful.

@Tony Thanks for the reply. Can you please tell me how do I set the mode to 256bit? I wasn't able to find the setting anywhere on the "Wireless Security" page.

The wireless chip it uses has AES 128/256, but the UI does not give that option so there is no way to specific way to set it.

@Tony Oh. Just curious, I am just wondering how does the router determine what bit key to use for a packet of data?

Time for a firmware update maybe? cheeky
