160mhz not working!
Hello, before I begin some background...I am considered to be a senior professional in all things wireless, 30 years of broadcast engineering career and over 35 years of radio signal transmission experience.
So with that out of the way Archer AX50 160mhz transmission is not working. Number one channel selection (for legal operation in US) 114 and 50(DFS) is not even available in the menu. Second no matter what selected router defaults to 80mhz channel width. Any 2 changes to the menu selection kills 5Ghz transmission totally and only fix is the router reboot.
I have multiple PC with Intel A 200 WIFI 6 adapters and to eliminate that I use $20k frequency analyzer that registers the whole 5Ghz band. Signal is not coming out of the router. So either this is the case of faulty hardware or intentionally disable feature?
And yes tried 5Ghz AX mode only with all available channels and power levels (legal issues also to be address). Not able to get it to work no matter what.
Ideas, suggestions, shared experiences?
