Would anyone know what settings to adjust to improve speed on the AC`1200? I'm getting less than 70mbs wireless when right beside the unit, it should be closer to 700-800mbs.

I would first look at the Ethernet cable especially if speeds are not going above 100 Mbps, swap it out with another one.
