Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Dont know

I have a Modem 4GEE and when i connect my i mac directly to it i get speeds of 60 to 90 Mbps.  then when i connect it to my M5 mesh i get speeds of 2 Mbps.   Been speeking to Deco technical and they cannot solve my problem.  How do i get faster speeds the whole point of the M5 was to send fast signals around the house.

@Ronniewales

What have you tried so far with support?

Also, to find your firmware version, in the Deco app go to "More" on the bottom right and select "Update Deco".

I have exactly the same problem. I installed 4 M5 units across my 4 room apartment, and in the living room wi-fi speed was extremely slow (my provider gives 1gbps but my wi-fi speedtest was 5mbps). I plugged the ISP cable directly to my computer and speed test showed 800mbps, so the problem was definitely with M5 unit. What I did next, I took one of the other 3 units and replaced that faulty one in my living room, and speed test showed 800mbps. That faulty unit installed in another place keeps showing 4-5mbps. The TP-LINK settings are exactly the same, all the standard choices through the app. My conclusion is that 1 of the 4 units is just fautly.
