Model: Archer C3150
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

Is the C3150 V2 router capable of 160mhz channel width, and if so, how do I get it to use it? I only see 20/40/80 for 5G.

I'm trying to get 1.73 gb/s out of my Intel 9560 WiFi card and it requires 160mhz. I'm getting 866 mb/s. I'd like to utilize my new gigabit internet speeds.

@Kylep

The Archer C3150 does not have 160MHz. With respect to the 5GHz it can only go up to 80MHz.

@Tony What about 80-80 mhz?

Could you please read this C3150v2 MU-MIMO Wave 2?

C3150v2 was/is still being sold as a wave2 router. Seems to be an issue relating to a firmware not released yet, since the chip used "supports 802.11ac wave2" as stated by @Kevin_Z . He also explained to us why we can not see 160mhz...

Usually, a new firmware could address bugs (half speed/freezing/cpu 100%) -  reported by users and at the same time add missing features (advertised by producer / requested by customers).

Have a nice day

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

Back to your case, please do not worry, we use the chip which supports 802.11ac wave2. While the firmware to support 160MHz has not released yet that is why you can not see it now.

You can keep an eye on our official website for firmware updates, or you can contact us.

May it help and have a nice day.
