Hello, I just got a new Deco M9 Plus 3-pack, and am trying to troubleshoot slow wifi connections. I have gigabit internet speeds from Comcast Xfinity, but am only getting 200-250Mbps speeds if I am a few feet away from each note, and closer to 100Mbps if I am 10' away. I live in a 1200 sq foot tri-story house, so I was wondering if having three nodes in such a small area (compared to the advertise 6,500 sq ft coverage) could be causing problems. I get 350Mbps speeds at the main node, and 650Mbps when I connect through ethernet. After seeing reviews from people getting 700-800Mbps speeds from this model, I'm extremely disappointed.

Try this as a test, unplug the other two nodes, then in the Kasa app make sure you are not using any features like device priority or parental controls or QoS (set to standard). While in QoS, make sure your download and upload reflect your internet speeds.

 

You need to test with other devices too so the bottleneck is not potentially the device you are using.
