tp-Link usage as range extender on one network

When I seted up it gave me an additional network. Can it be setup to just be a repeater on one home network?

Yes during the setup process after you link the extender to your home network you will see a screen showing the extended network name. Just click in this field and make the name of the extender the same as the routers.
