I have set up a mesh network with a Google OneHub and three Google WiFi mesh routers.

The Google WiFi app network display shows that I have 4 WiFi points and 43 devices,

Can I add an RE220 Range Extender as a fifth WiFi point on the mesh?

Is the RE220 configured as an Access Point or as a Repeater?

Does the RE220 have the same SSID as the mesh network or should it have a different SSID?

Thanks for the help.

@tgholford

As an additional AP, yes and part of the Mesh no.  Most companies MESH is proprietary and other devices cannot be added directly into the Mesh.  Instead you can connect it as a wired AP or as a traditonal range extender.
