192.168.0.254 no response, unreachable.
TL-WR700N travel router was hardware reset. Plugged in ethernet cable from Windows7 machine set to automatic.
Pointed browser to 192.168.0.254.... 'Unreachable'.
Ping from command line.... 'No response'.
Set Windows7 to 192.168.0.100. Still no ping.
The Wifi signal is still there but it is not possible to access and set up the device. Prior to the hardware reset it was fully accessable. This is the first time the device was hardware reset. Am I missing something or is it toast?

Power on the TP-Link device, wait a couple of minutes, then press and hold the reset pinhole for 15 seconds. Now use a computer to connect to the device via Wi-Fi. Rather than using your Windows 7, you could use the web browser of your phone. What would help is to look at the IP address the phone gets to see if it is a 192.168.0.x. The default IP of the 700N is: 192.168.0.254

Thanks Tony! That was it. To manage device WiFi good. Ethernet not good.
Thanks again for taking the time,
Les
