Model: Archer C9
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 1.0.1 Build 20171219 rel.57874

I've had few router resets over the last month. The router would randomly reset itself. Now, my 5Ghz network is missing from the SSID list on my wireless devices. I checked TPLINK setup and the 5Ghz radio is turned off. When I try to turn it back on, it says it is saved but the network button turns back off and the 5Ghz network name is blanked out. I seemed to have lost my 5Ghz radio??

@Dave124

Do a factory reset by holding the reset button for 15 seconds. You should then see the 2.4GHz and 5GHz, if the 5GHz is still not showing then the radio may be bad.

@Tony

I did the factory reset and set the router back up like it was before. The 5Ghz is back but the entire router resets nearly twice a day now. I've noticed it resets no matter if it has a heavy load or not. This was a good router for 2 years and 2 months.... Any suggestions? Thanks.

@Dave124

Warranty is valid two years from the date of purchase so I would recommend contacting them to see what they say.

Factors that can cause the router to reboot maybe if there is not adequate airflow so it gets too hot. The power supply is not the original one and not giving the appropriate power. Another factor can be the outlet being used may be causing it.
